Applications for Community Issues Funding are Open
Horizons’ flagship grantmaking program, Community Issues provides support to LGBTQ nonprofit organizations and programs based in the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. Central to our mission, supporting these organizations’ programs, services, and advocacy helps advance a world where all LGBTQ people live freely and fully. In 2026, Horizons expects to award substantially more funding through Community Issues. The application deadline is Wednesday, August 5.
This Year Feels Different

Horizons Welcomes More Than 70 Grantee Partners to Annual Convening
On April 23, Horizons gathered more than 50 leaders for Shared Wisdom, a dedicated convening space for LGBTQ partners from across the nine counties of the SF Bay Area to build stronger networks, share resources, and foster a more cohesive LGBTQ nonprofit ecosystem.
