On Tuesday, March 25, Horizons Foundation was thrilled to welcome more than 60 leaders from LGBTQ nonprofits across the nine-county Bay Area to its 2025 LGBTQ Grantee Partner Convening and Celebration at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. The annual event honors our grantee partners’ incredible impact and unwavering dedication to the SF Bay Area LGBTQ community, as well as provides a space for leaders to engage with colleagues, exchange resources, and explore opportunities for collaboration, harnessing the collective power and wisdom of LGBTQ nonprofits.

Izebel Rowen of Rowen Tree Securities provided a digital security training focused on how nonprofit leaders, staff, board members, and volunteers can protect themselves and their organizations online. Following the training, attendees formed discussion groups to build relationships, network, and share knowledge before gathering at a small reception to honor their work providing crucial services and resources to the SF Bay Area LGBTQ community.
